Great Advice When Traveling with Horses

Cindy Young, a good friend recently had a blowout while traveling with her horses and I wanted to share her great advice.
Cindy’s advice on hauling horses:
Bottom line, if you travel with horses you need to consider getting road service from this company called USRider. They are truly amazing.
If I hadn’t had someone come get the trailer with the horses, they would have sent someone. They were quick to respond to getting me and taking me where I needed to go. Even if you use them just one time, it more than pays for itself. AAA won’t even consider helping you if you have a horse trailer attached, and I’m pretty sure most other auto road-side assistance companies won’t either. You can go online at www.USRider.org
and sign up today. They are a little more pricey that most, but well worth the investment when we’re hauling our babies!

We’re so Lucky to have such great customers!

I got my shirts today.  They are fantastic!  I got them as presents for my horse-loving buddies.  I think they will really like them.
Thanks, Heather

Dear LBC,  Received my order from you several weeks ago,  LOVED everything!  Thanks for such great products and service. Sincerely Rosemary

Hi, I LOVE the sayings on your shirts!!!  I told our local Cenex (Mountain West Coop) store in Missoula about your clothing, and that they should look into carrying it.  Even though I’d be the envy of fellow trail riders, I couldn’t keep I good thing to myself!  Thank you! Michele

Rainy Day Dream Away

Good morning.  It’s a chilly, rainy, blustery day here in South Central Tennessee.

Cowboys won yesterday.  Yea!

Got the horses fed and up.  Good day for inside work.  Going to work on a couple of our video projects for YouTube.  Look for them soon online.  One is a introductory program to Lucky Bucky Clothing.  The other will be a surprise.  Just search “Lucky Bucky Clothing” on YouTube in a couple of days.  Have a good one.

Is Your Horse a Tree Hugger?

tree-hugger-ms-small

Hey all,

Lucky Bucky Clothing teams up with

American Quarter Horse Association

to promote trail conservation.

My name is Donna Taylor and my husband John and I own Lucky Bucky Clothing. My girlfriend Mardy Smith told me about STEP and encouraged me to get involved just about the time we were launching our new conservation tee, “My Horse is a Tree Hugger: Leave Only Kneecaps Behind.” Timing is everything and thought what better way to get awareness on the trails than with one of our “Back on the Trail Shirts.” So we contacted the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) and offered our help to support the association’s Stewards for Trails, Education and Partnership Program or STEP.

The STEP program is designed to help the U.S. Forest Service recruit volunteers for trail preservation and maintenance by educating equestrians to be effective advocates for trails and improve stewardship of land owned by horsemen that are adjacent to or critical to U.S. Forest Service land.

”Our goal is to create aWEARness one rider at a time for AQHA’s STEP program.” We printed a hang-tag and attach it to each shirt with information for the consurmer. We also sent our press releases to the major publications. So far Tack’n Togs, American Cowboy, Trail Rider, Trail Blazer and a few online venues have helped us by publishing our information.

You can check out this conservation tee at a retailer that carries our line, our website, or AQHA’s Quarter Horse Outfitters & help support trail preservation.

Happy Trails, Donna
